The complete number of Kyrgyzstan casinos is something in some dispute. As details from this country, out in the very remote interior part of Central Asia, often is hard to receive, this might not be too difficult to believe. Whether there are 2 or three accredited gambling halls is the element at issue, maybe not really the most earth-shattering bit of data that we do not have.

What will be credible, as it is of the lion’s share of the ex-Soviet states, and definitely true of those in Asia, is that there certainly is many more not allowed and underground gambling halls. Kyrgyzstan’s gambling dens are in fact worth visiting, therefore, as a bit of anthropological research, to see cash being wagered as a form of civil one-upmanship, the conspicuous consumption that Thorstein Veblen spoke about in 19th century u.s..
