Gaming supervisors look over gaming operations and employees in an assigned area. Circulating among the table games, they ensure that all stations and games are attended to for each shift. It also is common for supervisors to interpret the casino’s operating regulations for clients. Supervisors will also plan and arrange activities for guests staying in their casino hotels.

Gaming supervisors must have clear leadership qualities and good communication skills. Regardless of their educational background, however, many supervisors gain experience in other gaming occupations before moving into supervisory positions because knowledge of games and casino operations is essential for these staff.
